Friday 12th June 2009 - Live from the Montgomery Hall, Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham!
Darkness will fall over Shooting Star Wrestling come the next event at the Montgomery Hall on the 12th of June. Both Dragon Aisu and Kris Travis have power over one match on the card, which is guaranteed to turn SSW up side down. Whatever match Aisu and Travis create on the 12th it's bound to have evil intentions.
Paul Malen in action
Paul Malen is scheduled to appear on the 12th of June. Malen has had to fight his way through every SSW event, thanks to a certain thorn in his side. Unfortunately Malen has yet to score a pin fall on an SSW event but he is determined to prove himself to the SSW faithful. Whoever his opponent will be at When Darkness Falls, Paul Malen will give it 100% as always.
Speaking of thorns
Aisu has spoken
Dragon Aisu has recently spoke to SSW management. Aisu informed the management that he was going to use the power he won at the last event to send a message to the fans, the wrestlers and the management. Who knows what malicious plans are boiling over in Aisu's head, Find out on the 12th!
Joey Hayes appearing at When Darkness Falls!
One of the fan favorites of the SSW fans, Joey Hayes will be competing on the 12th. Hayes has been beloved by the SSW faithful since the debut show last year, where he picked up a win over Johnny Phere. Since then he was on a roll until Kris Travis stole the victory in the main event tag team match back in March. Hayes has yet to be signed to match, but it is bound to be great.
Sniper Injured
Last Sunday night, Sniper suffered an elbow injury and will be out for 6 weeks missing When Darkness Falls. Sykes will no doubt have a suitable replacement in 2 weeks time. We'll reveal who he has chosen when he sees fit to tell us who he has chosen.
Bubbles to debut!
Women’s wrestling returns to SSW with Bubbles making her debut at When Darkness Falls. Bubbles is one of the upcoming British women athletes with already having competed in RDW, Chickfight, RQW, 1PW and many more. She is bound to make a impression on the 12th at the Montgomery Hall and no doubt the fans in Wath Upon Dearne will be behind her all the way. Her opponent is yet to be announced.
Recently, Martin Kirby has been investigating the cause of the sabotage of his entrance music on the past SSW events. Kirby is frustrated that he's always considered a joke and he's determined to find out who's behind it. The past two shows, Kirby's music has been changed to Barbie Girl and Material Girl.

SSW Vs DPW
Brett Valentine Vs Danny Hope
In a cross inter-promotional match up with Dynamic Pro Wrestling, Brett Valentine (representing SSW) is set to take on Danny Hope (representing DPW). Brett Valentine hasn’t had much luck in SSW of late, especially with Casey Hanson and Rainz targeting him out, but he has a chance to prove his talent as he takes on Danny Hope. Hope has made a name for himself in GPW, XWA, DPW, GNP and many other promotions. Danny Hope is a talented wrestler and can go with the best of them. This bout will be a really interesting matchup as SSW and DPW collide.
The Wrecking Crew (Sykes, Kennedy & Havok) Vs Brad Flash, Bubblegum & Sam Bailey

The Wrecking Crew destroyed Brad Flash and Nathan Cruz in March and left them lying lifeless in the middle of the ring. Now they are looking to inflict more pain on all comers. Brad Flash has asked to face The Wrecking Crew in a rematch at When Darkness Falls and will be bringing the returning Sam Bailey and Bubblegum to aid him. So get ready for some intense 6 man action as The Wrecking Crew (Sykes, Havok and Kennedy) take on the team of Bubblegum, Brad Flash and Sam Bailey.

Domination Post Show Interview
Kris Travis speaks
Earlier today, SSW Management received a voice mail from Kris Travis. Kris will be choosing an opponent for himself and claims that someone on the announced roster has caught his eye, but wouldn’t reveal his choice until the event. Kris Travis has remained undefeated in SSW since the debut show on 2nd August 2008 and has a lot of momentum going in to When Darkness Falls, but who will he select to face on the 12th of June?
Sniper replacement
At 'All That Remains' last November, Sykes was injured after his partner Havok walked out after going through a table at the hands of Pain Inc.
Sykes and Havok have seemingly put this episode behind them and Sykes has once again allowed Havok to join him in the The Wrecking Crew along side the massive Kennedy. This team easily weigh over 1000lbs and its going to be a tough challenge for Bubblegum, Brad Flash & Sam Bailey to overcome.
This will be the final announcement for the show and we are keeping the lid on the 5 or 6 other participants till the night, We all like surprises don't we.
Stay tuned to SSW for the latest news.
