"Rites Of Passage" is finally upon us. Shooting Star Wrestling' present their debut event this Saturday from the Montgomery Hall in Wath upon Derne with an amazing triple main event.
CHEERLEADER MELISSA vs WESNA
SSW are proud to announce that fans attending our debut show on August 2nd will witness what is perhaps the hardest hitting female feud in all of professional wrestling take centre stage courtesy of CHICKFIGHT as we present a special attraction match on this already huge card.
The match will feature one of the biggest rivalries in the CHICKFIGHT promotion as CHEERLEADER MELISSA and WESNA go one on one for the very first time in the North East! Both of these women have proven themselves as fierce competitors in the past and have engaged war with one another numerous times currently tied in their feud each with 2 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw respectively and with news that these 2 will also clash the night after at the CHICKFIGHT show in Ipswich for perhaps the last time, this match at SSW will be crucial for both to get the upper hand in their epic feud and both are no doubt prepared to go through hell in order to claim victory. To see these great performers in action leading up to Rites of Passage, check out Chickfight TV on Pulse TV sky channel 208 and on www.clickwrestle.com
DRAGON AISU vs PAUL MALEN
Dragon Aisu has been a force to be reckoned with on the British wrestling circuit, and intends to enforce his will on Shooting Star Wrestling.
The one man standing in his way is Paul Malen, a tough competitor who will never back down from a challenge will take on the evil Aisu.
JOHNNY PHERE WILL APPEAR AT RITES OF PASSAGE.
Sadly due to injury, Zebra Kid will be unable to appear, however we have worked hard to bring you a more than suitable replacement!
Feared in the North west where he is dominant over many promotions, Johnny Phere will take on a yet to be named opponent. Phere however is not backing down, claiming whoever his opponent may be, he will have no problem taking care of them.
KRIS TRAVIS Vs CAMERON KRAZE
Kris Travis is a man whose arrogance and cockiness is matched only by his impressive in-ring skills, offered to face anyone because he knows he can beat anyone.
Maybe he's bitten off more than he bargained for, because answering the challenge is none other than Cameron Kraze.
When SSW management informed Kris of his opponent, he looked worried for a moment before shouting "WHO?, I'VE NEVER HEARD OF HIM!, I'LL BEAT ANYONE!"
When the extremely popular and well known Cameron Kraze heard this statement, he grinned and carried on chewing his gum.
Looks like Kris Travis' mouth maybe writing cheques his body can't cash.
PRYDE Vs NATHAN IRWIN & DANNY VERAILLE
Nathan Irwin recently asked to face a team that are respected with his team mate Danny Veraille, that team was Pryde, in the hope that if they defeat the team of Sykes & Lee Liddell, it will help them in their journey of making a name for themselves. Pryde duly accepted the challenge making no statement. I guess they'll let their wrestling do the talking at Rites Of Passage.
MARTIN KIRBY Vs SAM BAILEY
Martin Kirby as been making waves in many promotions recently, and now is set to hook up with Sam Bailey. Bailey has had amazing matches in the past for Promotions like GPW, NWL and FSW, so he's enthusiactic about pitting himself against 'Mr Bad Attitude' Martin Kirby. This match is bound to be a high pace, spectacular.
PRINCE MOHMED AMEEN & SCOTTY HEXX Vs HUBBA BUBBA LUCHA (EL LIGERO & BUBBLEGUM)
Tag Team wrestling is well liked by many, so at Rites of Passage there is another signed tag team contest. One of the richest men in all of Professional Wrestling, Prince Mohmed Ameen demanded a match against the team of El Ligero and Bubblegum collectively known as Hubba Bubba Lucha. He feels that Hubba Bubba Lucha are the most overrated tag team in all of Pro-Wrestling today and wishes to show them up in front of their fans. In order to do this Ameen is going to bring his hand picked hired gun Scotty Hexx! Hexx is one of the vicious big men in the north today and doesn't take kindly to El Ligero or Bubblegum either. Never the less, both Ligero and Bubblegum will bring their game against Hexx and Ameen and prove that they can live up to the hype as one of the best tag teams today.
RAINZ Vs 'PSYCHO' STEVIE FLINT Vs BRETT VALENTINE Vs CASEY HANSON
Last but certainly not least, Four Man will enter a match to prove that they're worth their spot in SSW. The four combatants in this match up are Stevie Flint one of the most insane and crazy individuals in all of British Wrestling today. Also, there is Rainz who is known as the Big Dog of British Wrestling. As well, there is Casey Hanson an underhanded Australian who cuts as many corners as possible to win. The last competitor of this match is a new upcoming athlete Brett Valentine, Who hasn't given SSW much information regarding himself, possibly in order to get the upper hand over the rest of his opponents? Only one of the four will leave this night with a victory, who will this be? Find out on August the 2nd at the Montgomery Hall
